Business Why is CCBILL sales support far better than Epochs? Old 01-31-2005, 04:22 PM

I email my rep at CCBILL a question, I get a reply fast, within an hour 90% of the time. Keep in mind, I am a minnow at CCBILL.

Epoch takes days and days, and then the answers are usually ambiguous if at all. We are by no means a whale, but have done millions and millions over the years.

Trend I am seeing with Epoch is apathy by the staff. I know I am not the only one seeing it, several people have expressed the same frustrations to me over icq in the past few months. Join pages being changed, thing going on without any communication, a basic lack of communication.

Does Mallick know this is going on, or has everyone made so many tens of millions that apathy was bound to set in?

U need a better rep. Back when I was with Epoch I had a super reb and my own support guy LOL I never waited for everything even had his private phonenumber.
Name was Keith or something super guy.

But yeah CCBill is far far superior.

Epoch support used to be good. I am not sure what has happened over the years. IMHO, there is a lack of communication with the company, and with their clients.

It is frustrating to run a business. I may just retire.

I understand there are things visa/mc will and will not permit. But straight fast answers should not be tough to get.

If I owned Epoch, I would kick my staff in the ass.

Customer support is alot better with ccbill too... dealing with epoch / paycom / billingsupport.com (whatever they happen to be calling themselves) is a pain for the surfers too.

seems everyone is always bitching about paycoms service. guess they just want to take your money, let thier techs help people rip you off in chargebacks. while they just kick back and laugh at you all.

Brad, I don't like or dis-like you. I think we've only met once. I really don't know you. I've been put off by some of your comments here and there and your unique ways of approaching things, somewhat like this thread, but personalities are all different and I take that into account. The bottom line is that Epoch is a service organization. One that I've had the privilege of working with since 1998. I've been a part of it's growth since we were only 13 people, now at somewhere around 250. Last year CCbill was crap (2 weeks to get setup) and Epoch was super super fast (24/48 hours setup). Now I have noticed Epoch still is good with pricing codes & I've got a good rep there but we have had to bang our heads against the wall many times when it came to their programming staff, if you want to hook up anything like cancelplus or upgradeplus watch out its a total nightmare.

CCbill has been a lot better lately with very good support from reps & programmers which is nice to see.

Must say, had a small issue with tech support programmers one time and emailed Rand and he took care of it super fast for me. They do run a tight ship at Epoch. I certainly would hold Epoch above CCbill from my experiences thats for sure.
