I'm still here, just don't get into many board discussions like in my younger days.
So Brad, did you try going to
http://www.bestadultcontent.com ?
Probably a good place to start. ;-) Our statement has been up for about a week now.
I sent
Jim@shawinternet.com an Email earlier this morning. I got a message he called. Yeah we have the same phone number we've had for the last 10 years, not too hard to reach. I sent Jim a list of everything you ever ordered, also told him the license was never returned, and to let me know if I should resend a new one.
I tried to post here a couple of days ago and the posts never went up. I sent an Email to
webmaster@justblowme.com about it and never heard anything back. So I figured anybody with our content would probably do the logical, and just type in our URL.
We are in the middle of shit here like everyone else. We have about 20 companies we have licensed content from ourselves so sit in the same boat as most everyone. We quit advertising BAC and our content licensing in late 2003. The site has been inoperative since February, but we will supply docs to anyone who licensed from us.
I hope I am able to get half as much from all the companies we licensed from the past 9 years. Its looking like well over a thousand sets are coming down.
I imagine adult site members are going to be doing a lot of head scratching come the 24th when they discover member's areas have gotten a bit smaller. It will be interesting to see if it affects cancellation rates and chargebacks. I guess they can all go join foreign owned sites now.
What a law... it seems like there is always something screwing things up in this biz. I'm about ready to retire and go raise pigeons with Tyson.
